search_coins
Finds a coin or token by name or symbol.
A crypto assistant built into Bitculator for members. Ask in plain language and it answers from live Bitculator data - prices, markets, sentiment, technicals, exchanges - and from your own portfolio when you ask about it.
Bitculator AI does not guess prices from memory. For every question it looks the figures up with the same tools as the Bitculator MCP server, shows the key numbers on cards straight from our database, and names the tools it used under each answer.
Bitculator AI is available on every page of Bitculator.
Every chat is saved as a conversation, grouped into pinned, recent and archived. You can pin, rename, archive or delete any conversation from the list.
Ask the way you would ask a colleague who has the market data open. Name coins, exchanges and dates, and say which currency you want. A few examples per topic:
Next to the Send button you choose how hard the assistant works on each question.
| Mode | Credits | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Quick | 1 | The everyday answer: a price, a snapshot, a short explanation. |
| Deep | 3 | A larger model, more data lookups and longer answers - for comparisons, portfolio reviews and questions that need several steps. |
Each question uses question credits. How many you have left is shown next to Send.
Next to the text, answers show cards with the key figures. The numbers on a card come straight from Bitculator's database - not from the AI's text - so they are exact even when the wording is not.
Under each answer, small chips name the tools the assistant used, so you can see where the figures came from.
Under the latest answer, suggested next questions appear as chips. A click puts the question in the input - nothing is sent, and no credit is spent, until you send it yourself.
Market cards end with the time their figures were taken ("Data as of 14:05"). The reminder that answers are not financial advice appears once, under the chat input.
Bitculator AI can prepare an action for you, shown as a card. Nothing is created until you confirm the card. The AI never creates, changes or deletes anything by itself.
| Price alarm | An alarm when a coin goes above or below a USD price, rises or falls by a percentage from now, or sets a new all-time high or low. The alarm limits of your plan apply. |
| Favourite | Adds a coin, an exchange or a wallet to your favourites. |
| Portfolio holding | Adds a holding to one of your portfolios. |
| Tool link | Opens the right Bitculator tool page - the DCA, profit/loss, staking, interest or loan calculator, the converter, the compare page, the market-cap flipper, the heatmap, liquidations, Fear & Greed or a coin's historical prices - with the coins filled in. |
When you ask about your own account - for example "How is my portfolio doing?" - the assistant can read your favourites, portfolios and alarms.
Starter prompts appear in an empty chat and match the page you are on - on a coin page they are about that coin.
Type / in the input to list a command for every kind of card. A few of them:

/ to list a command for every kind of card, grouped by topic. Keep typing to filter - /cha finds /chart - and press Enter or Tab to put its example in the input.@ and the start of a name to pick a coin, exchange or wallet. Its name goes into your question, and the assistant is told exactly which one you mean. The + menu attaches context to your question:
These are the tools the assistant can call. The list is read from the chat itself, so it is always complete.

Bitculator AI is an AI system. You are talking to an AI, not a person.
Bitculator AI gives information, not recommendations. Crypto assets are volatile and you can lose money. Decisions to buy, sell or hold are yours alone.
Prefer your own assistant? The market-data tools of Bitculator AI are also available as the Bitculator MCP server, which you can connect to Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients.
The MCP server has the market-data tools only. Your favourites, portfolios, alarms and the confirm-first actions stay inside Bitculator.
Signed-in members with question credits. Guests can type a question but must log in to send it.
A Quick question costs 1 credit and a Deep question 3 credits. Regenerating an answer costs credits again.
Membership plans include credits each billing period (Silver 50, Gold 200). You can also buy question packs or earn credits through game rewards.
From live Bitculator data, through the same tools as the Bitculator MCP server. The figures on cards come straight from the database, and the chips under each answer show which tools were used.
No. It can prepare a price alarm, a favourite, a portfolio holding or a tool link, but only you can confirm it. It never creates anything by itself.
Only when you ask about it, only your own, and read-only. Your personal data is never exposed through the MCP server.
No. It is an AI system that can be wrong, and its answers are information, not financial advice.
Yes. The market-data tools are available as the Bitculator MCP server, which works with Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients.
