Bitculator

Changelog

Bitculator AI changelog

Every change to Bitculator AI - data sources, answer cards, credits and limits - newest first. How it handles your data and credits is set out in its policies.

  1. Changed

Chat opens instantly while it loads

The first time you open the chat on a page, its window now appears right away with a loading indicator. If you are offline before it has loaded, it closes and tells you so, instead of opening later by itself.

  2. Fixed

Conversation actions no longer blocked by browsing

Pin, archive, rename and delete each have their own rate limit now (30, 30, 30 and 10 per minute), so ordinary browsing on the site can no longer use them up and make these actions fail.

  3. Changed

Yearly members get credits every month

Yearly Silver and Gold members now receive the monthly question allowance in every month of the paid year.

  4. Changed

Links to other websites ask first

A link in an answer that points to another website now asks you to confirm before it opens. Links to Bitculator pages open as before.

  5. Changed

More questions included with Silver and Gold

Silver now includes 50 question credits per billing period (was 10) and Gold 200 (was 30).

  6. Fixed

Fear & Greed figures match the cards

Answers now quote the Fear & Greed index on the same 0-100 scale as the cards and the Fear & Greed page. Before, they could quote a raw internal score that contradicted the card next to them.

  7. Added

Commands, @mentions and a card gallery

Typing / lists a command for every kind of card, grouped by topic and filtered as you type. Typing @ lets you pick up to 3 coins, exchanges or wallets so the assistant knows exactly which one you mean. "What can I ask?" opens a gallery of every card with an example question; nothing is sent until you press Send.

  8. Added

"Ask AI" buttons across the site

Coin page tabs and stat banners, and the alarm, portfolio, converter, flipper, DCA, Fear & Greed, heatmap and liquidations pages, now have an "Ask AI" button that opens the chat with a matching question filled in. Nothing is sent until you press Send.

  9. Changed

Guests can try the full chat

Signed-out visitors can now type and see every control. Sending, or anything that uses credits or saves something, opens a sign-up window, and an unsent question is kept for that page until you return.

  10. Added

Market signals, wallets and learning lookups

New data sources, each with its own card: market signals (get_insights, get_market_heatmap, get_market_cycles, get_coin_snapshot, get_bull_bear_index, get_market_indicators, get_liquidations_by_coin), wallets (get_wallet, list_wallets), learning (get_indicator_history, get_coin_volatility, get_coin_videos, get_glossary_term) and get_market_cap_flip. The snapshot shows each signal on its own and gives no combined buy or sell verdict.

  11. Added

    About 30 new answer cards

New cards cover price charts and performance since a date, market history and conversions, exchange rankings, trust scores and where to buy, liquidations, altseason and single indicators, your portfolio, holdings, watchlist and alarms, and two-coin charts. Market cards end with the time their data was taken ("Data as of").

  12. Added

    Suggested next questions

Up to three suggested questions appear under the latest answer, chosen from the cards you were shown. A click puts the question in the input; nothing is sent and no credit is used until you send it.

  13. Changed

More alarm types, editable before confirming

propose_price_alarm can now prepare an alarm for a percentage rise or fall, or a new all-time high or low, not only above or below a price. Before you confirm, you can change the type, direction, level and the email, push or SMS channel on the card, and the card says why when an alarm cannot be set.

  14. Changed

    Links to more Bitculator tools

propose_tool_link can now also open the profit/loss, staking, interest and loan calculators, the market-cap flipper, the heatmap, liquidations, Fear & Greed and historical prices, on top of the DCA calculator, converter and compare page.

  15. Changed

Richer answers about your own data

get_my_favorites now includes each coin's price and 24h/7d change, get_my_alarms shows how far each alarm is from triggering, and get_my_portfolios leaves closed positions out of the totals and can answer about a single coin you hold.

  16. Added

    Quick and Deep answers

A toggle next to Send lets you choose Quick (1 credit) or Deep (3 credits) for each question. Deep uses a larger model with more data lookups and longer answers. Your remaining credits are shown next to Send.

  17. Changed

Same market data tools as the MCP server

The assistant now looks figures up with the 19 market tools of the Bitculator MCP server, from search_coins and get_coin to get_liquidations_summary and calculate_dca. get_market_overview and list_top_coins were removed - get_global_market and get_top_movers cover them - and the new compare_entities compares two coins, exchanges or wallets like the compare page.

  18. Added

Cards with figures from Bitculator data

Answers now show cards for coins, comparisons, price tables, top movers, the global market, Fear & Greed, technicals, exchanges and DCA backtests. Their numbers come from Bitculator's data, not the AI's text. Coins and exchanges in an answer link to their pages, and chips under each answer name the tools it used.

  19. Added

Read your favourites, portfolios and alarms

The assistant can read your own favourites, portfolios and alarms with get_my_favorites, get_my_portfolios and get_my_alarms. These tools are read-only and see only your account; the + menu attaches this data to a question.

  20. Added

Actions that happen only after you confirm

The assistant can prepare a price alarm (propose_price_alarm), a favourite (propose_favorite), a portfolio holding (propose_portfolio_holding) or a link to a tool (propose_tool_link) as a card. Nothing is created until you press Confirm. With offer_choices it shows 2 to 6 coins, exchanges or wallets as buttons when a question is ambiguous.

  21. Added

New chat, answer controls and search

"New chat" starts more general conversations, titled by their first question until you rename them. Under each answer you can copy it, rate it, ask again (which costs credits again and keeps earlier versions to flip through) or edit and resend your last question. A search box appears once you have six or more conversations.

  22. Changed

One large chat window and a docs page

The slide-out conversation list and the small chat bubble were replaced by one large window: conversations on the left, the chat on the right, full screen on phones. A public Bitculator AI documentation page was added.

  23. Changed

Members no longer stopped by the daily budget

Members with an active Silver or Gold membership can now ask even when the shared daily AI budget is used up. Free accounts share their own daily limit and are asked to try again tomorrow when it is reached.

  24. Changed

A clear line on financial advice

The assistant now declines personalised recommendations - what to buy or sell, price predictions, or whether something is a good investment - and lays out the relevant data instead. A note under the input says Bitculator AI can be wrong and its answers are not financial advice.

  25. Fixed

    Deleted conversations stay deleted

Deleting a conversation used to only hide it, and its messages came back the next time you opened the chat on that page. Delete now removes the messages permanently, and conversations deleted earlier were cleaned up the same way.

  26. Fixed

Old prices no longer presented as live

When no exchange quotes a coin any more, the assistant is told its price is the last one recorded, not a live price. A ticker symbol shared by several coins now resolves to the best-ranked one.

  27. Fixed

Unsafe links shown as plain text

Links in answers now open only when they point to a web page, an email address or a Bitculator page. Any other kind of link is shown as plain text.

  28. Changed

    Verified email needed to ask

Sending a question now requires a verified email address. Accounts created with a crypto wallet and no email are not affected.

  29. Fixed

Answer shown under the wrong question

Fixed a case where sending a new question while the previous answer was still loading could show an answer under the wrong question.

  30. Changed

    Answers prepared in the background

Answers are now prepared in the background, so long answers no longer fail on a timeout. If an answer takes unusually long, the chat says it will appear once ready, and an answer that finishes after you switch conversations is saved to its own conversation.

  31. Added

Live data lookups for any coin

The assistant is no longer limited to the page you are on: it looks up live data itself with search_coins, get_coin, get_market_overview and list_top_coins - any coin's price, market cap, rank and changes, the whole market, and top gainers and losers.

  32. Removed

    Shared answer cache

Answers are no longer reused between members. Until now, a question similar to an earlier one could be answered with a stored answer; every question now gets its own answer.

  33. Fixed

Questions refused as "too fast" after browsing

The question limit shared its counter with other actions on the site, so normal browsing could make your first question fail as too fast. Questions now have their own limit of 20 per minute (was 5), and a conversation that fails to load shows an error instead of an empty thread.

  34. Added

Question credits included with Silver and Gold

Silver memberships now add 10 question credits each billing period, and Gold adds 30.

  35. Fixed

    Answers cleaned of unsafe HTML

Answers are now cleaned of unsafe HTML before they are shown, including answers saved earlier.

  36. Changed

    Better answers about wallets

In a wallet's chat, the assistant now gets the wallet's type, storage, supported platforms, software, specifications and tags, and knows what Bitculator's wallet score means, so it no longer treats the score as a percentage.

  37. Added

    Page awareness and Bitculator knowledge

The assistant now knows which Bitculator page you are on - title, description, breadcrumbs and key figures - and can answer questions about "this page". It also knows the platform's features, games, plans and tools.

  38. Added

    Win question credits in games

The Free Wheel, the Introduction Wheel and Mystery Boxes can now award question credits, as chests have since launch.

  39. Changed

    Follow-up questions and formatted answers

The assistant now remembers the last 10 messages of a conversation, so follow-up questions work. Answers are formatted with lists and bold text, and a coin's chat includes its technical indicators and description. Accounts that existed before the launch received 30 question credits.

  40. Added

    Bitculator AI launched

Signed-in members can ask Bitculator AI in a general conversation or in one per coin, wallet or exchange page. Each answer costs 1 question credit: new accounts start with 15, and more come as a +5 pack for 2,500 Bits or as prizes in chests. Conversations can be pinned (up to 3), renamed, archived and deleted.
