1inch Network

1inch Network was launched in December 2020 by Sergej Kunz and Anton Bukov. The project originated from the ETHNewYork hackathon in 2019, where the duo developed the first version of the 1inch Aggregation Protocol.

1inch Network uses an advanced routing algorithm called Pathfinder to analyze prices across numerous decentralized exchanges and liquidity sources (such as Uniswap, Balancer, Curve, SushiSwap, etc.). It then splits orders intelligently to achieve the most favorable execution price. The platform operates across multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and more. 1inch Network also offers additional services such as limit orders, a decentralized RFQ (Request for Quote) system, and a secure wallet for managing assets and swaps.

1inch Network offers a diverse set of use cases within the 1inch Network:

• Governance: 1INCH holders can participate in decentralized governance, voting on proposals that influence the development and parameters of the 1inch protocols.
• Staking: Users can stake 1INCH tokens to receive Unicorn Power (UP), which can be used to delegate to resolvers or participate in governance.
• Fees: 1INCH is used to pay for transaction fees within the 1inch ecosystem, streamlining the user experience.
• Liquidity: Liquidity providers can earn rewards by participating in the 1inch Liquidity Protocol, enhancing market depth and efficiency.
• Cross-Chain: 1INCH facilitates interactions across multiple blockchain networks, expanding the reach and utility of the 1inch Network.
