Bitcoin SV

Bitcoin SV, short for 'Bitcoin Satoshis Vision', was founded by the nChain group, and led by the founder Craig Wright, an inventor, computer scientist and businessman who claims to be the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. The Bitcoin SV blockchain is a hard fork of the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, the fork happened back in November 2018 because of a disagreement about how big the block size should be, Bitcoin Cash wanted the Block Size to be 32 MB, and Bitcoin SV wanted a block size of 128MB.

Bitcoin SV uses Proof-of-Work (PoW) as its consensus mechanism, just like Bitcoin does, however, its network can handle several hundred transactions per second, which is high compared to Bitcoins 7 transactions per second, this is achieved mainly because of the Bitcoin SV blockchain having a bigger block size limit, Bitcoin SV has a block time of 10 minutes, also just like Bitcoin.
