Crono.tech was founded back in 2016, but the information about the project's funding is a bit unclear, some sources state that it had a successful ICO back in 2016/early 2017 where they supposedly raised around 5 million U.S Dollars with a price per Chrono.tech (TIME) at $10, other sources say they raised 1 million U.S Dollars from AXL Strategic Partners back in early 2017, and then another 30 million U.S Dollars in a Seris A funding round from Mark Carnegie back in 2022.

Chrono.tech operates on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token, on Ethereum they have deployed smart contracts that ensure secure and automated transactions between employers and freelancers. The project has built 5 different platforms: TIME Bridge, which is a standard swap contract that enables you to swap TIME tokens between chains. TimeWarp, which is a type of staking/yield platform that pays you to lock up your TIME tokens, the payments come from the revenue generated by the Chrono.tech ecosystem. LaborX, which is a global recruitment platform that allows users to post jobs and find workers based on skills, availability, and reputation. TimeX, which is a plasma-based cryptocurrency exchange that mixes centralized and decentralized features. Lastly, we have the platform PaymentX, which is a platform for businesses that enables them to send and receive invoices, and setup automated payment's at specific dates. Payments are made in TIME tokens, providing a streamlined process that eliminates the need for external intermediaries. The system supports a decentralized identity verification, ensuring that both parties can trust each other before entering into any agreements.
