Klever was launched August 08 2020 by the MoonLabs Studios led by the founders CEO Dio Ianakiara, CTO Bruno Campos, and David Ianakiara. The company is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.

Klever is the asset ised on the KleverChain which is a layer 1 blockchain built using a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus model. All network operation including token transfers, smart contract execution, and validator actions require KLV for transaction fees. This structure gives network scalability and low transaction costs.
