MultiversX

MultiversX was founded by Beniamin Mincu, Lucian Mincu, and Lucian Todea. The project was originally named Elrond but rebranded to MultiversX in November 2022, indicating a shift towards building the metaverse economy. The project raised funds through an Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) raising $3.25 million for $0.65 per EGLD token.

MultiversX use Adaptive State Sharding consensus mechanism, also known as Secure Proof-of-Stake (SPoS), which enhances scalability and efficiency. Through sharding MultiversX can handle up to 10,000 TPS per transaction shard and 30,000 transactions per second (TPS) with a targeted block time of 6 seconds. Additional features include the ability to tokenize real-world assets, developer royalties, and WASM-Based Virtual Machine.

MultiversX offers several notable features:
