TRON

As mentioned above TRON was founded by Justin Sun, his goal was to revolutionize content distribution on the internet with a primary objective to give power to content creators by removing intermediaries from the digital content distribution process. The project's name can be highly attributed to the cult classic sci-fi movie 'TRON', which is a movie that explores themes like digital reality. TRON also made a big purchase by acquiring the very popular torrent site BitTorrent back in July 2018, a move that integrated/introduced a large user base to the TRON ecosystem. Throughout the past years, TRON has been busy implementing several major upgrades into its Blockchain network, for example did TRON create the TRC-10 and TRC-20 token standards, these standards make it possible for developers, companies, and users to create their own custom tokens that run on the TRON blockchain. In 2020, the platform launched another upgrade called "TRON 4.0", this upgrade introduced zk-SNARKs for improved privacy features.

TRON uses a popular consensus mechanism known as Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS), this type of consensus allows TRX hodlers to vote for what is called 'Super Representatives' (validators), these validators work together by broadcasting transactions and interactions to each other and thereby maintain and validate all of the different network activity. This consensus mechanism significantly boosts the platform’s efficiency and is very energy efficient, which makes it possible for TRON to handle about 2,000 transactions per second, making it a fairly fast blockchain network compared to traditional mining consensus algorithms. Additionally, TRON provides a set of development tools and libraries that allow developers to create robust dApps and smart contracts.

TRX offers several notable features:

• Scalability: TRX’s architecture allows for a fairly high transaction throughput, which makes it possible to handle a larger number of users simultaneously.
• Interoperability: TRX is using the Ethereum EVM which allows for interoperability between blockchains.
• Low Transaction Fees: TRX transactions have minimal fees when sending or interacting with the blockchain.
• Decentralized: TRX is a decentralized network that makes it possible to distribute content without intermediaries.

Despite its promising features, TRON faces several challenges:
