VeChain

VeChain was founded by Sunny Lu. The project was developed to revolutionize traditional supply chain models by using blockchain technology for tracking and data integrity. Significant events include VeChain's mainnet launch in June 2018 and its rebranding from VeChain (VEN) to VeChainThor (VET). The project held an ICO in 2017, raising approximately $20 million USD at a price of around $0.08 per token.

VeChain uses a Proof-of-Authority (PoA) consensus mechanism that offers higher efficiency and lower computational requirements compared to traditional models. The network can handle about 10,000 transactions per second. The average block time for VeChain is approximately 10 seconds. VeChain uses a dual-token system, VET for value transfer and VTHO for transaction costs which enhances stability by separating the platform's volatile token market from operational cost management.

VeChain offers several innovative features:
