Daedalus Wallet is as a full-node wallet that downloads and verifies the entire Cardano blockchain. Daedalus Wallet connects to the network through desktop platforms, offering users an environment for key management and transaction signing. Setup involves installing Daedalus Wallet on a supported operating system and following the built-in onboarding to generate wallets and recovery phrases. Daedalus Wallet allows unlimited HD wallet creation, operates without third-party servers, and integrates a built-in newsfeed to deliver network updates directly through the interface. For blockchain validation, Daedalus Wallet relies on local storage and peer-to-peer synchronization.
