Enjin Coin

Founded by Maxim Blagov and Witek Radomski. Witek Radomski is also known for his contributions to the development of the ERC-1155 token standard. Enjin Coin initially started as a community platform for gamers. Enjin Coin raised funds through an ICO in 2017 where it managed to raise $23 million. Recently, Enjin Coin has focused on creating its own blockchain, signaling significant evolution from its Ethereum origins by aiming to address scalability and customization needs across various platforms.

Enjin Coin uses delegated proof of stake (DPoS) to achieve consensus. This infrastructure makes it possible for the protocol to offer easy minting, integration, and trading of blockchain-based assets. Enjin Coin's goal is to provide a more efficient and cost-effective solution for gaming-related features built into blockchain technology.

Bitcoin runs on a decentralized ledger technology called the blockchain, which records all transactions that occur on the network. Each block in the blockchain contains a group of transactions, and new blocks are created through a process called mining, where miners compete to solve complex cryptographic puzzles. Once a puzzle is solved, a new block is added to the chain, and the miner is rewarded with newly created bitcoins.
