WAX

WAX was co-founded by William Quigley and Jonathan Yantis, who have extensive backgrounds in cryptocurrency and digital commerce. The cryptocurrency was developed to streamline the process of creating, buying, selling, and trading virtual items, particularly in the gaming sector. One major historical event was the launch of WAX ExpressTrade in 2018, simplifying peer-to-peer trading of digital goods. The project raised funds through an ICO in November 2017 for $9.6 million with an ICO price of $0.32 per token, and an undisclosed round in June 2022 for $10 million.
