Desig

Desig is designed as a self-custodial MPC (threshold signature) multisig, where private key material is split into shares and combined only when the required signers approve a transaction. Desig has not experienced any major scandals, hacks, or criminal charges.

Desig uses a threshold signature / MPC model: the wallet splits signing authority into secret shares held by signers' devices. When a transaction or proposal is approved by the required threshold, signers compute partial signatures locally and those partials are combined to form a valid blockchain signature accepted by target chains. This enables an EOA-style multisig experience across chains without deploying a separate smart-contract on each chain, supports on-device approvals, social recovery patterns, and integrates with common dApp flows.
