Tangem

Tangem is open source and non-custodial. Tangem uses secure element chips and has zero reported hacks across millions of distributed cards. Security measures include biometric authentication, access codes, key generation, and offline storage.

Tangem was created by Tangem AG, co-founded by Andrey Kurennykh, and Andrew Pantyukhin.

Tangem use NFC connectivity with the Tangem App on mobile devices. During setup, Tangem generates a private key directly on the EAL6+ certified chip. Navigation and signing occur through physical tapping and mobile interface, with companion app verification and multi-card backup options. The chip performs cryptographic operations internally, aligning with secure element standards.
